Well now Sue is back safe and sound from Atlanta and the weather outside in the evening it was a great opportunity for a seafood dinner for two on the deck. Chicken Cashew Szechuan
Everyone has a few tattered and torn cookbooks with pages falling out that you just cannot bring yourself to part with. For us, at the top of that list is a very dog eared Betty Crocker's Chinese Cookbook from 1981. This recipe is from that book and it is one of our "go to" recipes when we fancy a chinese meal at home.
Serve this with our Hot and Sour soup as a first course.

Trout for a light summer supper
We made our favorite weekend stop at Ali Blu seafood at Blair Road, near Harpers Ferry on Rt 340. On the board today were local fresh trout. These trout weighed in at over 3/4 Lb head off so we bought a couple for tonight and grilled them over charcoal.
